Hi!  My name is Mike Schmitz and I run West Coast Outfitters.

Fishing Guide Services. I fish the rivers surrounding Forks and those only. You don't get to be a expert by fishing 20 rivers 4 times a year, you get to be a expert fishing 5 rivers 250 times a year.

I was born and raised in Forks and am a 2nd generation fishing guide. My dad moved to Forks in the late 70's and was a guide up until a couple years ago. Its really all I know.

Well what has been a slow season so far for springers just so turns out they were a month late, we have a ton of spring salmon in the sol duc now and am making up for lost time with 4 to 6 hook ups a day...And getting some in the thirties, book your trips asap before we run out of water in the sol duc

Rates

My prices for 2 people for 6-8 hours of fishing is 350 and 300 for 1.  I charge 1500 for a 3 day elk hunt for 1 person and half again for 2 people.

Equipment

I have a heated willie drift boat and a outcast raft for low water conditions. I provide all poles and tackle and all you need is a license, lunch and rain gear ... and don't forget the camera.  I can also accomodate group fishing trips.
